February features our great coffee from the Fraijanes Plateau growing region, which is one of 8 regions classified by the association. Fraijanes lies between two volcanoes: the Cerro Redondo Volcano, right beside the farm, and the Pacaya Volcano, which is one of four active volcanoes in Guatemala. The soil is a combination of the fresh ash from the volcano, silt, and clay. This makes the farm's soil extremely fertile and ideal for coffee cultivation. Flavor notes of milk chocolate, roasted almonds and citrus.
