We don’t remelt couverture — we make chocolate from scratch. Every bar starts with ethically sourced cacao beans that we roast, refine, and temper in-house. From our smooth 70% dark chocolate to coffee-infused favorites, each batch reflects true bean-to-bar craftsmanship and a deep respect for origin and flavor.

What does “bean-to-bar” mean?
Bean-to-bar means we make chocolate from scratch — starting with raw, ethically sourced cacao beans. At Encore, we roast, grind, refine, and temper everything in-house, controlling every step from the cacao bean to the final wrapped bar. It’s real chocolate making — not remelting or rebranding someone else’s chocolate.
Do you ship chocolate in warm weather?
We don’t currently offer warm weather shipping protection, but it’s coming soon! This option will include insulation and cold packs to help prevent melting in transit. Until then, we recommend placing orders only when temperatures in your area are below 75°F, and selecting Overnight or Priority Mail shipping at minimum for the safest delivery. Be sure to track your package and avoid leaving it outside for long periods. Keep an eye out for updates at checkout as warm weather options become available.
How should I store your chocolate?
Store chocolate in a cool, dry place away from sunlight — ideally between 60–70°F. Avoid the fridge if possible, as humidity can cause sugar bloom and affect texture.
Are your chocolate bars vegan or dairy-free?
All of our dark chocolate bars are vegan and dairy-free, including the Masala Chai and Espresso bar. Our milk and white chocolate bars do contain dairy. While we clearly label ingredients, we always recommend checking the individual product page for the most up-to-date ingredient list — especially if you have dietary concerns.
When will my order ship or be ready for pickup?
Orders placed by Monday at midnight are roasted fresh on Tuesday. We ship orders as soon as they’re packed — typically the same day — and you'll receive a tracking number by email once it’s on the way.
If you select local pickup, your coffee will be ready on Thursday or Friday between 12–5 PM. We’ll send you a pickup confirmation email as soon as it’s available.
Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?
Yes — local pickup is available at our Grandview facility. Just choose "Pickup" at checkout.
We’re open for pickups on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00–5:00 PM. You’ll receive a pickup confirmation email as soon as your order is ready.
