This region in southern Ethiopia is celebrated for its unique heirloom varieties and balanced cup profiles that differ from neighboring Yirgacheffe and Sidama.

Processed at the respected Sawana Washing Station, this lot undergoes meticulous hand sorting, extended fermentation, and slow drying on raised beds. The result is a specialty coffee with layered notes of floral aromatics, citrus-lime acidity, green tea clarity, and cane sugar sweetness.

Ideal for light to medium roasting, this coffee offers excellent clarity and a delicate body, perfect for pour-over, filter, or nuanced espresso. It’s traceable, sustainable, and a beautiful example of Ethiopia’s legendary coffee-growing tradition.
