Our eighth Tour Stop will be taking us near Mount Kilimanjaro in the northern part of Tanzania. Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa and borders Kenya to the North. This region is recognized as producing some of the best coffees in the country. This coffee is sourced from the Mamsera Juu Cooperative in the village of Mamsera.  This Cooperative is located on the eastern slopes of Mt. Peru - Chonta Our fifth Tour Stop will be taking us to South America to enjoy this wonderful coffee from Peru.  Chontali is in the forested mountains that ring the Chunchucas river valley. The land surrounding Chontali ranges from 1,200 to 2,100 meters ASL, and specialty coffee is cultivated at up to 1,900 meters ASL. Chonta takes its name from the spiny palms that grow prolifically here and shelter many farms.
